Inside the cosy, candlelit diner, gorgeous food is served from lunch till late, with an emphasis on succulent meat and fish. Those who’ve eaten in Fanny Trollopes rave about it; for those who haven’t, it’s surely only a matter of time. The bistro offers various deals throughout the week such as two courses for a set price. Take your pick from such appetising offerings as king prawn and coriander fritters; Stornoway black pudding and apple slaw; and black cherry parfait. I cannot praise this restaurant enough. Absolutely flawless experience from start to finish. Food was unbelievably good, wine was great and the service was faultless. Reasonably priced too. One of the nicest meals I have ever had!
